Hello, it's me, Alfredo. I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
I'm a rather "poetic" person.
Worked a long time as a social worker with young persons from 16 to 21; in the streets, in prisons, etc. Since 2000, I write personal stories and lyrics. For me it is a way of expressing my emotions, creating order in my mind and trying to find sense in (my own) history. But by sharing it here, at Gather, I hope to create more significance, just becáuse of sharing."Inspiring and being inspired" appears to be my way of living.
So in my own case I don't see the point of gathering numbers. I'm sharing, not running, but your personal feedback will remain very important for me.
I am also a volunteer in a real theatrical childrencircus by children and for children. Their pleisure is our main goal .In some way, I'm the biggest child in that circus, because in the nineties I discovered my great affinity with the magical world of young children. For me, this childrencircus is like a painting of the Spanish artist Miró that has come to life.
I also can be very excited by watching the sky at night and by flying my kite. I love creating acryl paintings and I share these at different websites, like http://www.bloggen.be/alfredo/ and also in expositions now and then in TheNetherlands."Sharing" At this Gather website means, in my case, that I show here some of my stories and paintings and that I'll have a real close look at sites from (mainly)persons who left a comment
The list of friends/collegues I can really cope with is about twenty. I cannot meet expectations from 30,or even 40 people, because I take such a list seriously as a two-way street. So I choose for quality in the whole social system at Gather, in stead of quantity. It's my personal choice and you have the right to know that.
Subscription is also a good option in this case. I really would be honoured.
